From July 3 to 14, we kicked off at our San Piero headquarters the Women Academy<\/strong> program aimed at nine women<\/strong> who have joined our production lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The idea stemmed from a desire to embrace the theme of diversity inclusion<\/em><\/strong>, combined with the need to include labor on the assembly lines at the San Piero facility. The girls involved in the project come from fields of expertise other than engineering, with the main background being in the food sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Valeria Baril\u00e0, HR Recruiter and Administration at Sampierana, tells how the Women Academy<\/strong> project came about:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We noticed that the CVs we received for positions as production line workers were from women with different work backgrounds than usual. At that point came the idea of starting with those who still had the willingness to get involved, preparing specific training programs. So we provided our staff and all the tools at our disposal to help newcomers introduce their skills even in a different field. In addition, we also pursued another important goal: the enhancement of resources in the area.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The idea of creating a series of pre-work training aimed at women to pass on notions and techniques related to excavator production has proven successful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are almost all local women, an added value for us and for the company that continues to offer opportunities to those who inhabit this area through a continuous focus on issues of diversity and inclusion.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

We decided to talk about the project through a series of interviews with the people involved that will be shared on our social channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
